Abstract
In this thesis we discuss and solve some problems in non<U+2013>associative algebras and we give some new results. The word ?non<U+2013>associative? means that the algebra is not assumed to be associative. In chapter 0, we give definitions, notations and some known results. In chapter 1, we survey and discuss the main theorems in absolute valued algebras and we give two new theorems. In chapter 2, we prove some new interesting theorems in absolute valued algebras with an involution. The normed algebras without topological divisors of zero have been studied in chapter 3 by using weaker conditions. Chapter 4 is devoted to study rings satisfying the identity (xy)(xy) = x((yx)y) where we give sufficient conditions for such rings to be associative or alternative. Moreover, we give applications on absolute valued algebras which satisfy this identity.
