Abstract
A literature survery on transition metal complexes of thiosemicarbazones was made . The thiosemicarbazones may be coordinated to the metal ion through, oxygen, nitrogen and/or sulphur atoms. The interest in the study of thiosemicarbazones and their metal complexes is mainly due to their biological effect. The ligands used in this study are 1-acetoacetanilide-4-pheny1-3- thiosemicarbazones (H2AAPT), 1-acetoacet-0-toluidide 4-pheny1-3- thiosemicarbazones (H2AA-0-TPT), 1-acetoacet-0-anisidide 4-pheny1-3- thiosemicarbazones (H2AA-0-APT), 1-acetoacet-p-anisidide 4-pheny1-3- thiosemicarbazones (H2AA-0-APT) and 1-p-intro- acetoacetanilide-4-phenyl-3- thiosemicarbazones (H2AA-0-NPT) .
