Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the possibility of using cattle manure as well as KNO3 or Ca(NO3)2 through watering of soybean plants either alone or in combination with ABA for improvement of plant growth under soil application of different levels of CaCO3. Abscisic acid as antitranspirant was applied as foliar treatment during each stage of plant growth and development. Growth parameters, photosynthetic pigments. photosynthetic activity, contents of carbohydrates, nitrogen and mineral elements, as well as transpiration, osmotic pressure, yield production and chemical compositional changes in the yielded seeds were also measured.
