Abstract This study was carried out on ten completely edentulous male patients to compare displacement of maxillary denture when intra-oral central bearng device, centric relation interocciusal rubber base record and existing centric occlusion and intercuspation were used as guides to seat the denture during relining impression procedure. For every patient upper and lower complete denture were constructed in an ordinary manner except that before trial packing of the maxillary denture, aluminium foil spacer (1 .mm) was adapted on the maxillary cast. The spacer was removed and the same maxillary denture was relined with eugenol-free-zinc oxide .mpression material. After initial seating the maxillary denture with rm finger pressure, each patient was closed into centric occlusion r*?sition guided by intra-oral central bearing device mounted to roer and lower acrylic denture base, centric relation interocciusal ‘Dber base record or by existing centric occlusion and zrcuspation during relining impression procedure. For each JJnDxnt, maxillary complete denture relining impression procedurepatients to compare displacement of maxillary denture when intra-oral central bearng device, centric relation interocciusal rubber base record and existing centric occlusion and intercuspation were used as guides to seat the denture during relining impression procedure.
