Abstract
This study was carried out on fifteen completely edentulous patients to evaluate the effect of different impression techniques on the ridge resorption of maxillary anterior flabby area of complete denture wearer.
For this purpose, upper and lower complete dentures were _xistructed in conventional manner but the arrangement and i ection of the artificial teeth followed the monoplane concept. ‘-rnoramic and ceplialoinetric x-ray films were recorded just iefore of denture insertion and after one year of denture use, the raients were divided into three equal groups according to the eondary impression:
r group A : used impression technique described by Fenn etil.
cmr group B : used impression technique described by Osborne,. Eor group C : used impression technique described by Watt and %!ac Gregor.
