Abstract

Message has been conducting a feasibility study for potential technical to use the mechanism of recycling topical water and to increase the water content at the top of each package of packages fuel inside the reactor boiling water (BWR), and can be accessed for such a mechanism by designing a pump jet inside the channel calming interior package fuel , where the water passes the motive of the pump jet from the bottom through the entrance of the channel interior package fuel while the water passes drawn to the pump jet (water saturated) through the same channel, but in the reverse direction ie from the top of the channel heading to the bottom where it is injected and mixed بالمبرد and water payment at the same time. And motivation to conduct this study is to increase the ability to soothe and improve the neutron convection in the critical part of the reactor (upper part), which leads to better use of uranium and well as eat neutrons and thus can develop fuel package is designed to boiling water reactors. And in an effort to identify factors mechanical affecting the flow main pack fuel and validity of recycling, as well as pumping capacity needed to force water through a piece of the package and the fuel is almost identical to pack real reactor boiling water where the Mansoura University establishment of a hydraulic model for the package reactor fuel boiling water and so as to simulate the hydraulic properties of the internal flow mechanism of the proposed package of fuel, and analysis has been carried out in practice, while hydraulic analysis was performed thermal neutron in theory. The results confirmed the practical as well as theoretical calculations and thermal neutron that there is improvement in the efficiency of fuel burning, and in this study was to ask questions relating to the control of interactive hydraulic and thermal behavior and how he will react in case of emergency incidents كحادث loss of coolant, study has confirmed the possibility of Homeland use recycled water to the fuel pack by jet pump with a new design, which has been proposed in this study. And summarized the results of the message in the following points: - 1. Reduce fuel distribution areas different focus to only three regions, including the regions of natural uranium (not the center) which gives results close to the optimal distribution. 2. Increase the safety zone of the iceberg warming to about 8.5% and 10% by integrating the proposed jet pump in this research at a height of 1.5 meters and 1 meter, respectively, and may increase came at the expense of increased pumping capacity by 37% in the first case and 105% in the latter case. 3. The use of the new design to pack fuel leads to lower fuel temperature to about 55o m in the case of pumping at a height of 1.5 meters with the knowledge that the problem of high temperature casing due to lack of fuel radiator lower part can be mitigating a result of increased security zone for thermal iceberg. 4. Increases the length of the operating cycle up slightly in the case of the proposed package runs than in the case of conventional run the package due to either reduce the introduction of control rods or amount I eat neutrons inside fuel or both. Based on the previous results can propose the following recommendations: 1. Must conduct a feasibility study for a trade-off between increased complexity in the design package, fuel and benefits resulting from the improvements, as it must compare the designs which are used areas vertical distribution eat neutrons (in fuel) and distance entry panels control as well as the water content vertical inside pack fuel to reach Balfad Heat for regular distribution in various stages of operation of fuel, it also must have full access to the top down thermal flux. 2. There may be a benefit of trying to design a jet pump does not need to increase the energy needed to pump and be able to achieve the amount of force withdrawn. 3. Must conduct additional studies of the various dimensions of the jet pump, as well as its location every stage of the fuel during the operating cycle, and it must be noted here that various forms Ltd. that were used in this study do not necessarily represent the optimal design, as it is required to use more thorough analysis of the aspects the following: a. Relations used in the hydraulic model thermal neutron, as well as the thermal design study under the hydraulic operating conditions and stable transition, as well as in emergency situations. B. Conduct studies on the instability of the heart of the reactor as a result of impeding the flow at the entrance of fuel package in addition to mechanical vibrations expected as a result of the topical injection of water into fuel rods. And had divided the study in the five-door to ensure Introduction simplified reactors, boiling water, and a comparison between the new design proposed for the package and the current design has, and has included also a review of the research earlier were divided into three parts and is the jet pumps, a network connecting the fuel rods , and finally research on hydraulic thermal analysis. Contains a detailed view of parts of the device used in the experiments, as well as various measuring devices. Door offers a simulation of the jet pump operation proposed in this letter and shows the theoretical model details (Alhedrouhrary and neutron), also discusses the interaction between practical and theoretical analyzes using a computer program designed for this purpose. Presents in detail the practical results and the final results resulting from the integration of practical and theoretical analyzes using computer programs that have been developed for this purpose. Containing findings and improvements that have been reached by this study, will also discuss the recommendations of some of the research points in the future. Map shows the arithmetic flow of the program the user and the data used as inputs to the program, the hydraulic thermal analysis shows neutron and relationships used in the construction of the program in the vertical analysis arithmetic to pack and one fuel.
