Abstract

A mass spectrometer VARIAN - MAT CH - 5 DF of reversed Nier - Johnson geometry was used to investigate the molecular metastable transitions by electron impact. It was aimed to compare the kinetic energy released for the same metastable transitions occuring in the first and second field - free regions. In addition a comparison between the kinetic energy released for the ions of the same empirical structure has been carried out in the following compounds.1) Pyridine (One compound) 2) Acetyl Pyridines (3 compounds) 3) Amino Pyridines (3 compounds).
