Abstract Three iron tellurium semiconducting compounds FeTe0.9, FeTe1.95, FeTe2.10 in addition to the solid solution FeTe2.0 were prepared through a solid state reaction between iron and tellurium. Powder metallurgy technique was used in the preparation. Measurements of the electrical conductivity, Hall effect and thermoeelectric power of the three iron tellurides as well as the solid solution FeTe2.0 over a wide temperature range (96 - 700 k), were carried out. |
