Abstract
The work presented in this thesis investigates the film- filter combination for the integrating quantitative determiation of the dose of the various types of radiation produced from X - ray apparatus, gamma and beta - sources, thermal and intermediate neutrons emergent from accelerator and reactor shield. A designed film badge system is tested as a personnel dosimeter for radiation protection purposes in A. R. E., Atomic Energy Establishment.
