Abstract
The genus streptomyces ( Waksman and henrici, 1943) is a member of the Family streptomycetaceae (Waksman and henrici 1943) in the bacterial order acterial order actinomycetales ( Buchanan, 1917). Streptomycetes are gram-positive, spore forming soil bacteria that undergo a complex cycle of morphological differentiation resembling that of filamentous fungi.
