Abstract
Experiments in which broad bean plants were treated with NaCL, nitrogen and phosphorus compounds either singly or in combination, under light or dark conditions, were conducted. All these experiments were designed to investigate the effects of the above mentioned factors on the behavoir of nitrate reductase activity and on the concurrent changes in the metabolites at the different organs of the plant.
