Abstract
The objective of this investigation was to carry out a phytochemical evaluation of the two selected green algae namely : Rhizoclonium hieroglyohicum and Oedognium capilliforme collected from the water supplies under investigation. The moisture content of Rh. hieroglyohicum was relatively higher than that of O. capilliforme; the values obtained being 10.066 and 9.585g% respectively.
