Abstract Twelve fungicides were tested, in vitro, against Piricularia oryzae isolated from the rice fields of Dakahlia Governorate. According to the dose (required to cause complete inhibition of in vitro fungal growth, these chemicals were grouped into five categories : a)PCNB, copravit and dithane to which the fungus was very resistant (1000 p.p.m. are above was required). b)Spergon and orthocide which were needed at concentrations between 700-900 p.p.m. and thus the fungus was considered resistant. |
