Abstract From the previous studies, it is clear that few kinetic investigations have been carried out on the hydrolysis of amides in aqueous-organic solvents from the stand-point of solvent effects on reaction rate and mechanism. These investigations were-extented to test the validity of the new carrelation between reaction rate medium effects through the ionization constant of water which is present as a compenent of the solvent system. |
