hearts, and passed down from generation to generation; Grammar is the
mainstay of the Arabic language and its foundation upon which it is built and
built upon.
These grammarians are : Al-Zamakhshari (d. 538AH) in his book
“Argumentation with Grammatical Issues,” Al-Sakhawi (d. 643 AH) in his
book “Munir Al-Dayaji fi Tafsir Al-Ahaji,” Ibn Lubb (d. 782 AH) in his poem
called “The Riddles Poem on Grammatical Issues,” and Al-Suyuti. (d. 911 AH)
in his book “The Grammatical Riddles” called “The Style in the Riddles,” and
Mullah Issam Al-Asfarainy (d. 1037 AH) in his book “Explanation of the
Grammatical Riddles System.”
