Abstract
The anchors are a foundation system that is used to resist any uplift force applied to the foundation of various structures. The anchors transmit the uplift fore to the soil at a deeper level. In general, anchors are used to support structures that are prone to uplifting, such as of shore structures, jetty structures, submerged platforms, buried pipelines, communication and transmission towers, and towering chimneys.
