Abstract
Plaque psoriasis is the most common clinical variants of psoriasis, clinically characterized by erythematous plaques covered with silvery white scales of various sizes, the most common area of predilection are scalp, trunk upper and lower extremities.
The pathogenesis of psoriasis is not well known, it associated with the genetic predisposition, environmental factors and infection as in guttate psoriasis where by it associated with upper respiratory tract infection (URTI)
