Abstract

This research introduces a new method for the process of separating multicomponent within a single mixture. This method consists of two parts; The first part for the selection of the best sequence for the separation process, and the second part for the synthesis of heat integration of the best sequence to reduce the amount of heat used in the separation process, and reducing the total annual cost of the separation process. By comparing the results of the thesis with the results of previous research that dealt with the same topic, it was confirmed that the proposed approach is easy to implement, can be implemented by manual calculation, and gives better results in terms of annual cost. Several illustrative examples have been given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
