Abstract

quality chick is the backbone of a successful poultry cycle. In this
study on Antimicrobial and Disinfectant Resistant Genes in E. coli
Isolated from diseased poultry.
Samples were taken from 3 Government Beheira , Giza, andRas ghareb
the total of sample 195 chicks,135 water samples, 330 air samples and
580 swabs from the hatchery (newly hatched chicks, water supply and
environmental samples)and farm Giza and Beheira(chicks and water
supply from nipples and tank) from each Government. The sample
from 3 Government Beheira , Giza, and Ras ghareb.
Isolation of E. coli accompanied by gasping and not gasping or other
respiratory manifestations with a mortality.
E. coli was recorded with a high percentage 57.4% . Clostin showed
impressive results for treating isolated bacteria from chicks, while
erythromycin, spiramycin, lincomycin, oxytetracycline, bacitracin,
streptomycin, followed by ampicillin, doxycycline, and gentamycin
showed high resistance isolated E.coli.
