المستخلص The study aimed to reach how to activate the culture of planning in supporting the professional development of teachers of the basic education stage, and to develop a planned vision of how to activate this role and upgrading, and to achieve this based on a set of procedues in theoretical rooting that inciudes the general framework of the study and the the conceptual framework of the culture of strategic planning and the justifications for activating it in the education stag the basic study prepared a schematic and conceptual drawing for professional development. The study used the descriptive analvtical approach by collecting relevant studies and benefiting from them. This was followed by the preparation of the study, where a questionnaire was prepared and applied to a random sample consisting of (733) teachers from the basic education stage. Field in sohag governorate. The most important results of the study were in the basic education stage in the strategic planning stage in supporting professional development, obstacles to activating the culture of strategic planning in professional development, and also the absence of statistically significant differences, and a base for the variables of the type of scientific job and gender, and the construction of that report professional development for primary school teachers.
