This study deals with the subject of ”the historical character in the play Kanli Sarik ”The Bloody Turban” by the Turkish writer Najib Fadel Qaisah Kora K”, an analytical, technical, and objective study of the play with its translation which was published in 1967 AD.
Naguib Fadel focuses in his play ”The Bloody Turban” on the battle of Manzikert in 1071 AD, in which the Muslim Turks defeated the Byzantines and opened the gates of Anatolia. Kars against the Russians, and the external and internal conflicts that fell on the Turkish people and the severity of the suffering suffered by the people of Kars where Kars was a sea full of people’s blood, and its people fought and struggled many and many times to defend every inch of its lands. Kars witnessed many wars, especially from the Russians because it was on the border between the Ottoman and Russian states, and loyalty to religious affiliation was the main rule in the city of Kars.
The city of Kars was honored by the presence of the tomb of ”Abu al-Hasan al-Kharqani” - the venerable mystic - who was one of the initiators of facilitating the entry of the Seljuks into Anatolia in 1033 AD in the face of the enemy and his fall as a martyr during the war.
