Abstract Improving reproductive performance in dairy cows become a must for economical and profitable issues so this study was carried out to early detect reproductive abnormalities and induce breeding protocols in dairy management, 181 dairy cows were examined rectally and by ultrasonographic examination after parturition and were grouped into 4 groups normal cyclic dairy cows, cows with follicular cyst , cows with luteal cyst and cows with pyometra. Each group was treated by different breeding protocols, the results showed that injection of GnRH will increase lutein tissue on the ovarian structures and so increase in serum progesterone level and so better reproductive performance, the group with pyometra showed better reproductive performance when treated by ceftiofur injection in combination with PGF2, In conclusion using different breeding protocols in dairy management and early detection and treatment of reproductive disorders will improve reproductive efficiency. |
