Abstract
The first and the second part of this investigation deals with the synthesis of Schiff bases (3-25) depending on quinazolinone.
The third part is synthesis and design novel ”turnoff” fluorescent sensors of Cu2+ ions. Study was carried out for compounds (3), (4) and (5)
The fourth part deals with docking study for the synthesized compound (19-25) into the active site of EGFR. All compounds gave good results.
Cytotoxicity assay on human liver carcinoma (HepG2) for compounds (19-22). All the target compounds gave good effects. Compound (19) gave the best result.
The structures of the newly synthesized derivatives were elucidated by 1H-NMR, IR and in some cases by mass spectrometry.
