Abstract

Coronaviruses were discovered in the 1960s and were named due to their crown-like shape. An acute respiratory disease, resulted by a new coronavirus (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 or SARS-CoV-2 previously known as 2019-nCoV) was known as the reason of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as it spread in China and later in the globe. SARS-CoV-2 is one of the β-coronavirus group and dividends severe genomic character with bat coronavirus explaining that bats are the natural host. SARS-CoV-2 can use angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, as that for SARS-CoV, the coronavirus related with the SARS blowout in 2003. It mainly expands over the respiratory tract with lymphopenia and cytokine storms happening in the blood of people with serious disease. (Mortaz E, et al.2020)
COVID-19 spread known by rapid global spread within a short period. COVID-19 is an infectious respiratory disease resulted by a new coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2). SARS-CoV-2 is dissimilar from known coronaviruses in charge of mild disease like common cold among human beings. It is important to comprehend the impact and result of this pandemic. (Baloch S, et al.2020)
Since the extension of COVID-19 in December 2019, it has caused important damage and challenges to over 200 countries and areas around the globe. (Gao Z, et al, 2021)
COVID-19 which began by contracting an extremely contagious beta-coronavirus, is in charge of the newest pandemic in the history. pulmonary injury caused by COVID-19 infection can cause fast progression to diffuse alveolar injury, acute respiratory failure, and even death showing the highly contagious behavior of the disease. (Vaduganathan M, et al,2020)
Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay with showing of specific nuclei acid of SARS-CoV-2 in swab from mouth or nasopharynx is the top test for diagnosis of COVID-19 disease. Chest computed tomography (CT) can be negative in initial infection, though it can attain over 90% sensitivity in showing COVID-19 infection but with little specificity. (Kim H. et al,2020)
