The study aimed to identify the correlation between cognitive distortions and borderline personality disorder among high school adolescents. The main sample consisted of (120) adolescents, secondary school students, their ages ranged between (16-19) years. The data were collected using the cognitive distortions scale (prepared by the researcher) and the borderline personality disorder scale (Fatma Muhammad, 2019). The results of the study resulted in a statistically significant correlation at the level of significance (0.01) between cognitive distortions and borderline personality disorder among adolescent students of the stage. The secondary level is at the level (0.01), in all dimensions, and this means that the more cognitive distortions, the more this leads to borderline personality disorder, It also resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of male and female secondary school students in the direction of females in cognitive distortions as a total degree and as sub-dimensions, where the (T) values were statistically significant at the level of significance (0.01), and there were statistically significant differences between the mean The degrees of male and female secondary school students in the direction of females in borderline personality disorder as a total degree and as sub-dimensions, where the (t) values were statistically significant at the level of significance (0.01). Adolescents are high school students.
