Abstract

The age, sex, skin allergy and allergic conjunctivitis were insignificantly different between both groups. The type of allergic rhinitis was insignificantly different between both groups (P = 0.545). Nasal symptoms (nasal congestion, nasal itching, rhinorrhea and sneezing) were significantly improved after one month and after two month compared to before treatment in Fluticasone group and Fluticasone + Azalastine group. Two nasal symptoms (nasal congestion and nasal itching) were insignificantly different between the two groups. But rhinorrhea and sneezing were significantly improved in Fluticasone + Azalastine group than Fluticasone group after one and two months. Nose score of different complaints (nasal congestion or stuffiness, nasal blockage or obstruction, trouble breathing through the nose, trouble sleeping and unable to get enough through my nose during exercise or exertion) before the treatment were insignificantly different between both groups.
