This study aimed to identify the impact of strategic intelligence on the performance of employees in chains hotels in Egypt, Thus, its methodology is analytical. where the descriptive analytical approach was used to achieve the objectives of the study, both theoretical and practical, The study community includes employees (senior managers and operational employees) of five-star chains hotels in Egypt, specifically in Cairo, It included managers and employees in those departments, (Front Office Management department - Food &Beverage – Rooms Division- Human Resources Management department), The number of hotels under study was 22 hotels, it distributed 385 questionnaires about 302 valid questionnaires based a random simple sample. Therefore, this study was based on the method of simple cluster sample. The results indicate that about 95% stated that the level of strategic intelligence was (4.79) (a very high level), The results revealed that the level of strategic intelligence in Cairo’s five-star hotels is 3.69 out of 5. This value refers to the high level with a 19.57 % as a coefficient of variance. Which indicates that hotels apply strategic intelligence, this indicates that managers and employees in chains hotels have strategic intelligence, where the dimensions of strategic intelligence were arranged in order of importance first the systems thinking dimension (R = 0.840) followed by partnership (R = 0.834), dimension followed by motivation dimension (R = 0.808), followed by innovation dimension (R = 0.792), followed by future vision dimension (R = 0.778), finally foresight dimension (R = 0.769). The results indicate that about 95% stated that the level of employees’ performance was (5.0) (a very high level), The results revealed that the level of employee performance in Cairo’s five-star hotels is 3.98 out of 5. This value refers to the high level with a 16.87 % as a coefficient of variance. where the dimensions of employees’ performance were arranged in order of importance first the achieved work amount dimension (R=0.831) followed by commitment (R=0.809) dimension and finally work quality dimension (R=0.735).
For the impact analysis , variance in the level of strategic intelligent is caused by the foresight dimension 37,2% by future vision dimension 36,6% by systems thinking dimension 32.8% by strategic motivation dimension 26,8% partnership dimension 25.5 % and innovation dimension 26 % on the performance of employees. For the standardized coefficients of Beta, the effect of strategic intelligence on the level of employees performance (B = 0.685) at 0.05 significance level. In addition, the dimensions of strategic intelligence effect on the level of employees performance; strategic foresight dimension (B = 0.610), future vision dimension (B = 0.605), systems thinking dimension (B = 0.572), strategic motivation dimension (B = 0.518), strategic partnership dimension (B = 0.505), and innovation dimension (B = 0.510) at 0.05 significance level. Finally study recommended it is necessary to use the dimensions of strategic intelligence to strengthen and consolidate leadership qualities and to create new leaders, Strategic intelligence should be one of the criteria for selecting leaders within hotels, to provide managers with the required information in a timely manner which supports managers’ ability to make effective and crucial decisions; The need for senior management to invest in electronic infrastructure, which affects the improvement and support of strategic intelligence because it reflects positively on the level of performance of hotels in general and employees performance in particular.
