Abstract Acetabular deficiency is a difficult clinical problem; there are many causes of acetabular deficiency as, neglected develepomental dysplasia of the hip (DDH.), skeletally mature hip dysplasia, spondylo-epiphyseal dysplasia, protrusio acetabuli, posttraumatic degenerative joint disease secondary to acetabular trauma .In most cases, secondary osteoarthritis develops so requiring total hip replacement.
