Abstract

The present study was carried out at the research experiment station of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Alexandria during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, with the aim of studying the effect of foliar fertilization with boron and zinc on soybean yield grown under two levels of nitrogen fertilization.The variety used in the study was Giza 111 obtained from Giza Research Center. In the implementation of the experiment, a split plot system was used according to the design of complete random sectors with three replications. The main plots were occupied by two different concentrations of nitrogen, and combinations of zinc and boron occupied the sub plots. Nitrogen treatments: Nitrogen fertilization was added in two batches, at the rates of 30 and 60 kg/fed. (71.4 and 142.8 Kg N/ha ) , in addition to eight treatments of zinc and boron , namely: Low zinc-T1 (42 ppm). High zinc-T2 (126 ppm). Low boron-T3 (85ppm). High boron-T4 (255ppm). Low zinc and low boron-T5 Low zinc and high boron-T6 High zinc and low boron-T7 High zinc and High boron-T8 The experimental unit contained 3 ridges, the length of the ridge was 3 meters and the distance between the two ridges was 70 cm. Thus, the experimental unit was 6.3 square meters. The cultivation was carried out on both sides of the ridge, and 55 the plants were reduced to two plants/hill, so that the number of plants in the ridge was 24 plants.
