Abstract

Water pollution is a worldwide issue appear in the form of microbial pathogens, nutrients, and hazardous substances contaminates both freshwater and saltwater ecosystems, harming aquatic life and public health, world community now is facing worst results of polluted water, there are many sources of water pollution like heavy metals and others, they cannot be degraded or destroyed, the impacts of heavy metal pollution on living organisms are very serious. Heavy metals are bio- accumulative, toxic at high concentrations, have neurological impacts, and some are carcinogenic.
There are many techniques used in the detection of heavy metals in water samples, in the past decades, different instrumental analysis techniques have been used to analyze the trace heavy metal ions in water, these include AAS, ICP-AES, MPT (microwave plasma torch)-AES and ICP-MS. Other analytical techniques, such as electrochemical analysis, fluorescence measurement, absorption measurement, X-ray fluorescence technique, and electrolyte cathode atmospheric glow discharge, also we can use Chemosensors which are characterized as highly sensitive, low cost, easy to perform and can be used in many different fields, Among the diverse sorts of sensors, optical sensors have greatly promising future. Since the diverse cations or anions are the fundamental bit of the biological, sustenance and water, so their affirmation and particular removal with high affectability.
