Abstract

Foodborne pathogens which cause foodborne diseases and food poisoning are widespread in the world. It is a potential threat to human health. Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus are the most common bacteria found in meat.
Foodborne pathogens are also becoming more resistant to antibiotic therapy. Particularly concerning bacteria are those that are resistant to several antibiotics. In certain cases, a limited number of antibiotics or no antibiotics available to treat multiple antibiotic resistance pathogens. so it has now become necessary to investigate newer sources for antimicrobials. Endophytic actinomycetes in Sinai are considered a potential source of novel bioactive products.
