Abstract

he present thesis includes three main chapters with Arabic and English
summaries. The data were gathered in (20 Tables) and represented in (59
Figures), and (14 Schemes). Also, the results were listed in (133
reference), which focuses on the literature survey on the previous
researches, and the characterization of some ligands and their metal
chelates containing thiourea and nicotinic acid, as well as
dipropylenetriamine.
Chapter 1: Introduction
This chapter describes the importance of nicotinic acid with its
derivatives; dipropylenetriamine with its metal complexes along with
thiourea, and their uses. Also, this chapter concerned with a scientific
literature survey on nicotinic acid derivatives, thiourea and
dipropylenetriamine compounds and their complexes together with their
biological activity.
Chapter 2: Experimental
This chapter includes three main parts:
Materials and Instruments
This section gives details of chemicals used for the preparation of all
new compounds in thesis. Also, it restricts all instruments used for
characterization the structures of the ligand, and metal complexes
