Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the role of Soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase- I as endothelial dysfunction biomarker in adult patients with beta thalathemia major. The present study was conducted on 45 patients with beta thalassemia (group1). The patients were recruited from the clinic and wards of the Hematology Unit of Internal Medicine Department, Tanta University Hospital. The study duration started from December 2021 to December 2022. Also, 45 healthy volunteers were enrolled as a control group (group2).
