Summary A growing amount of research is now supporting the relationship between cognitive impairment and patients suffering from vestibular hypofunction. The apparent cause of this connection is the presence of connection of the vestibular system with some brain centers that are responsible for some of cognitive domains. The present study was done in Audiology Unit of ENT department of Tanta University Hospital in order to verify the effect of vestibular hypofunction (whether bilateral or unilateral) on the memory and attention with some subjective and objective tests for memory& attention and comparison the control group with unilateral vestibular hypofunction cases and with bilateral vestibular hypofunction cases & finally comparison between unilateral and bilateral gorups.
