Abstract One of the most developing field in endodontics is the regeneration therapy of the infected root canals in the immature permanent teeth, using regeneration protocol to allow completion of root formation and maturation also closure of premature apices with application of triple antibiotics paste to disinfect the canals leading to coronal staining and inappropriate esthetic appearance in most of the cases. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of different bleaching techniques in discolored teeth using the triple antibiotics paste in the discolouration as a regenerative material. Seventy human extracted incisors were extracted and randomly divided into four groups control group (only stained without application any bleaching material or technique)(n=10),the three other groups were divided into walking bleaching, light activated bleaching, laser activated bleaching each group(n=20). Color recorded of the groups were taken before and after the discoloration then after bleaching using VITA Easy shade with the CIE lab system to calculate the results, which were statistically analyzed. The results showed no statistically difference in discoloration of the laser and walking group while the light group was statistically higher in bleaching effect also after bleaching the laser and walking group showed whitening result but the light group was superior to both. |
