Abstract
The study included 50 infants and children with congenital heart disease. Their ages ranged from 11months to 13 year. They were 39 female and 11 males. beside full clinical assessment with history and thorough examination, all cases had complete blood count (CBC), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein CRP, full coagulation profile, blood grouping, Chest x-ray, ECG and Echocardiography, were done. Diagnostic cardiac catheterization was done in 26% of the cases. Interventional cardiac catheterization was done in 74% of the cases studied .
