Abstract The present work deals essentially with the integration between remote sensing and geophysical methods in the investigation of the environmental and natural hazards in the Nabq province that is one of the most important tourist areas on the southern entrance Gulf of Aqaba coast and has a prominent position on the map of the tourist cities. After the intensive human activities, many desalination plants have been constructed to supply the resorts by their water demands. The horizontal water movement takes place from either the sea or land as well as the vertical tidal movement, led to the soil liquefaction, resulting in soil voids, leading to a decay in the upper soil and, so, a differential settlement occurred in some buildings. |
