The current study aimed to identify the nature of strategic planning and the most important modern models for it, shed light on the features of kindergarten institutions, reveal the Pfeiffer model and its importance in the development of educational institutions, monitor the reality of the internal and external environment of kindergarten institutions in Egypt, and develop a proposed strategy for the development of kindergarten institutions based on the Pfeiffer model. .
The study relied on the descriptive approach, and the study population included kindergarten teachers in Sohag Governorate, and a representative sample of the original community was chosen by the simple random method, and a questionnaire prepared by the researcher was applied to the study sample, The study concluded that kindergarten institutions lack many of the elements of the Pfeiffer model, and face a set of problems that affect the quality of performance and hinder the application of the Pfeiffer model, including the lack of skills and resources necessary to bridge the gaps in the kindergarten, the limited use of the SOWT model in studying the current situation, the limited use of Improvement plans to reach the desired future and the limited use of technology data by the kindergarten administration in analyzing gaps, the lack of use of alternative plans by the kindergarten administration in anticipation of any unexpected changes, and the lack of kindergarten use of models showing how to use alternative plans, and the study presented a proposed strategy for the development of kindergarten institutions in Egypt In light of the Pfeiffer model.
