Abstract
Gulf of Suez is a Neogene continental rift system that was developed by the separation of the African and Arabian plates in late Oligocene – Early Miocene time.
Younis Oil Field is considered as one of the producing oil fields in the Suez rift. This field is located in the South east of Gulf of Suez, 20km southeast of El Morgan Field, 35 km to the east of Ras Shukheir and about 5 km away from the eastern coast of the Gulf of Suez.
