Abstract
This is a retrospective cohort (observational) study that aimed to investigate the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the clinical and academic practices in the department of orthopedics in Tanta university hospital during a pandemic year (from April 1st 2020 to March 31st 2021) comparing them with the clinical and academic practices at the same department a year earlier i.e., before the pandemic (from April 1st 2019
March 31st 2020).
