Abstract T he efficient shaping of the root canals and maintaining their curvatures is an essential goal for every root canal anatomy and reduces the risk of transportation and perforation. The aim of this study was to compare and evaluate the efficacy of the Endo Plus, M Pro, and ProTaper Universal rotary systems in terms of shaping ability of the canal according to canal centering and curvature. Thirty mesiobuccal canals of human mandibular molars were used in this study and divided into three groups; each underwent preparation in the mesiobuccal canal. group A was prepared with Endo Plus, group B was prepared with M Pro, and group C was prepared with ProTaper Universal. The teeth were fixed in position in an addition silicone mold, allowing them to be accurately positioned before and after instrumentation. Teeth were then scanned using Cone Beam Computed Tomography before and after preparations. Superimposition of pre and post-instrumentation images was achieved using special software that allows manual and automatic registration of the primary and secondary images allowing standardization. The Data was tabulated and statistically analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, ANOVA test, and Tukey’s post hoc test. The result showed that there was no significant difference between the three groups regarding canal centering and change in the angle of curvature. |
