Abstract
Varus deformity means frontal plane deformity of the mechanical axis of the whole limb in comparison with the normal ranges and passes medial to the center of the knee with deviation. Radiographically, Varus deformity is defined as any preoperative tibiofemoral angle less than naturally occurring anatomic valgus, less than 7 degrees. Severe varus deformity exceeding 20 degrees is profound varus (with a tibiofemoral angle more than 15°).
