The ancient Egyptian viewed death as a temporary or transitional
stage, and believed that man would be resurrected again to live a
life of immortality. The ancient Egyptian’s perceptions that his
other life would be similar to his first life, so he placed the things
he would need and he called it funeral furniture, and to ensure
protection and assistance In crossing this journey, the ancient
Egyptian decorated this funerary furniture with scenes, texts, and
invocations of some guardian deities. Some individual tombs
were discovered in the Valley of the Kings, containing huge
funerary furniture of splendor, beauty and precision, some of
which are comparable to the funerary furniture of kings.
