Wireless sensor networks are receiving a considerable degree of research interest due to their deployment in increasing number and variety of applications. However, wireless sensor networks have limited energy and memory resources. One of the approaches to minimize the energy depletion allows only some sensor nodes called cluster heads to communicate with the base station. Appropriate cluster - head election can drastically reduce the energy consumption and enhance the lifetime of the network. Different cluster routing protocols utilize fuzzy model in selecting the cluster heads. They are based on different characteristics of network such as: energy level, distance to base station, centrality, and node degree. These fuzzy models are based on the expert{u201F}s knowledge. The experts are not easy to find. Even if you find one, knowledge changes with time and is incomplete. Linguistic terms, when determined, can easy overlap leading to a compatible concept and a less interpretable fuzzy model. In addition, cluster formation is repeated at each round of the cluster head election, it is time consuming. The ill distribution of cluster in the network may cause depletion of energy by non - cluster head sensor nodes so as they can send their data packet to the associated cluster head node
