Analysis of different factors affecting mortality and total duration till defeverescence was done. The study was conducted during the period from May 2014 to October 2014. A total of 70 patients were studied, 38 males and 32 females, with a median age of 45 years. Most common diagnosis was acute myeloid leukemia (51.4%) with the majority of patients developing febrile neutropenia during the induction phase of treatment.
