Melasma Quality of Life scale is a specific questionnaire used to assess the burden of melasma on patient’s quality of life. The melasma area and severity index (MASI) score is an index used to quantify the severity of melasma and changes during therapy. Different studies have been done to evaluate clinical aspects, severity and effect of melasma on quality of life. Our study included 200 cases of melasma (193 women&7 men), full history was taken for each patient, aggravating factors were reported , MASI score was calculated and MELASQoL scale was assessed for each patient.
