Abstract Morbid obesity has become a big health problem due to its multiple co-morbidities. Bariatric surgery proved to be an effective way for management of morbid obesity and its co-morbidities. In recent years, sleeve gastrectomy has evolved as a single-stage procedure for the treatment of morbid obesity . Sleeve gastrectomy which is showing effective resolution of co-morbidities and good weight loss, shows increasing popularity among bariatric surgeries . Radiologists may be asked to perform and interpret imaging studies in the postoperative period and should be familiar with the normal appearances and common complications. In this study, 30 morbidly obese patients had undergone routine postoperative gastrografin meal and CT abdomen in complicated cases which are followed up afterwards to evaluate post-operative complications in early six month, and also late postoperative complications were evaluated |
