The study area is located in the southern part of Giza Governorate at both side of the Nile Valley, it lies between latitudes 29{u00BA} 00’ {u2013} 29{u00BA} 30’ N and longitude 31{u00BA} 00’ {u2013} 31{u00BA} 20’ E. It is bounded to the east by Eastern Desert, to the west by Western Desert, to the north by Giza Governorate and to the south by Beni Suef Governorate. El Kurimat Power Plant is located approximately 95 km south of Cairo in a desert village called EL Kurimat. The present work aims to determine the anthropogenic impact on surface- and ground- water quality in and around El-Kurimat electric power station. The dissertation evaluates the surface and groundwater for drinking, irrigation and livestock & poultry application
