Abstract Oral tongue cancer is one of the most common tumour of head and neck, neck treatment in its early stage is considered one of the most controversial points as some agree with conservative therapy by wait and see policy as it has low incidence rate of metastasis to neck nodes in comparison with other stage. While others support performing neck dissection to detect neck node metastasis and then take the appropriate action towards this. This study is a retrospective one performed on patients presented to national cancer institute during last 5 years to verify the role of neck dissection or to support wait and see policy |
