Abstract
This research focuses on the effect of harmonics on thee distribution transformer . It shows the different thermal models for predicting the winding hot sport temperature and transformers thermal ageing . K- factor transformers can be calculated according to the harmonics contents . An algorithm is proposed to determine the loading capability of the transformers under harmonics condition
